25 years of "Kurven & Knödel" ...

... or "Let's bike together" - the hotel group with nine motorbike hotels from Tyrol, the Dolomites and the Grossglockner region is celebrating an anniversary this year and invites you to the "Pass Paradise".

Surely many people still know the huge motorbike helmet, which, equipped with bar and counter, was an eye-catcher at numerous motorbike fairs for years. The slogan "Kurven & Knödel" (Curves & Dumplings) quickly became established, with "Let's bike together" as the subtitle. It all started with the hosts Klaus and Charly from the Tyrolean Oberland and Karl from South Tyrol. On many of their joint tours, they had experienced time and again that motorcyclists were treated as second-class guests.

They had not promoted the topic of motorbikes much in their own hotels until then, but now they saw a reason to explicitly welcome motorcyclists - and more than that, namely with an extensive range of services as well. The first appearance at the motorbike fair in Dortmund in 1996 was very well received, they were right on target with their concept. Little by little, more hotels were added. Currently there are nine hotels in the three top regions of Tyrol, Dolomites and Großglockner.

In addition to sensational touring possibilities in the mountain pass paradise, the hotels also offer covered parking spaces, a washing facility, a mechanic's corner, help with technical problems and tour suggestions for the next trip. In the beginning, roadbooks and tour maps were used, which are still very popular today, but now everything is available electronically for downloading to the navigation system. And if you want to get to know the highlights and insider tips of the region first hand, it's best to book a guided tour. Those who don't travel by motorbike or want to try something different can rent a bike on site.

The hosts are all passionate motorcyclists themselves and after 25 years they are still as enthusiastic about it as they were in the beginning. And they haven't forgotten how to party either ...
